PRP Lip Restoration

Since platelets help tissue heal and grow new cells, the PRP is injected into the lips to rejuvenate the color and firmness. The PRP injection helps stimulate collagen production, regenerates tissue and ultimately smooths and tightens skin.

PRP injections are different compared to other injectables like Restylane® and Juvederm® which relies on Hyaluronic Acid to fill and plump fine lines.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Filler can however be used in conjunction with PRP.  PRP has the advantage to be used on areas of the skin that are not safe for Restylane® and Juvederm®. After a period of 6-18 months, other injectables are reabsorbed by the body whereas PRP injections result in permanent changes to the body’s tissues and increased longevity of results.

PRP skin rejuvenation results usually show within 3-4 weeks after the treatment session and will continue to improve over time lasting up to 24 month!
